About
Dave Elmstad has always been drawn to the darker corners of the mind. Inspired by classic gothic horror but writing in his own voice, he crafts stories about fear, memory, and the things we carry without knowing. For him, writing is not just telling a story—it is creating art. Every story is a new attempt to draw the reader in, to keep them invested, and to make them think about every sentence and every development—leaving them wondering what it all means. The Utmost Trial is his first published story, with more on the way.
The Utmost Trial: A Psychological Horror Story
The Utmost Trial: A Psychological Horror Story
Some questions should never be answered.
David has always been the inquisitive one—the one who could never leave a question alone. Then something entered his room. It watches him through wide, dark eyes. It follows his every thought. And slowly, it is taking everything: his sleep, his peace, even his memories of the friends he once laughed with.
